Snow Pup Sleeps is a Christmas countdown for little ones. Each day in December, a new door opens to show Oslo and Maui getting into something festive, from December 1 all the way to Christmas morning.

Common questions
How does my child use it?
The home screen shows how many sleeps are left until Christmas, with 25 doors below. Today's door is wrapped like a present with a gold ring, and it gently glows so your child can find it without reading the numbers. Tap it to open the day's picture, then tap anywhere to go back.
Why won't a door open?
Doors open on their day in December. Until then they show a sleeping puppy, and tapping one just makes it wiggle. Opened doors stay open, so your child can visit favorite days again.
Can I see the doors before December?
Yes. Press and hold the “sleeps” headline for about a second to open the grown-up panel. From there you can:
- Unlock every door to preview. This turns itself off the next time the app opens, so the surprise isn't spoiled.
- Pretend it's a different day to move the date forward or back, or jump to December 1 or December 24.
- Close all the doors again to start the countdown fresh.
- Say the number out loud to turn the spoken numbers on or off.
Does it need the internet?
No. Snow Pup Sleeps works offline. Everything is built into the app.
Where is my information kept?
On your device only. The app has no account, no ads, no analytics, and makes no network connections. See the privacy policy for the detail.
Are Oslo and Maui real?
Yes! Oslo is a German Shepherd/Husky mutt who watches over my kids, and Maui is his younger cousin, a fluffy Samoyed who's always the ringleader when the kids are playing.
