Privacy Policy — Getting Ready
Last updated 5 October 2026
Getting Ready is a picture routine chart for children on iPhone. The short version of this policy: the app collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere.
What we collect
Nothing. Getting Ready has no accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics.
What stays on your device
The app saves one file on your device containing your chart: the tasks you have chosen, which flaps are currently lifted, the date they were last reset, and the child's first name if you have entered one.
That file never leaves your device except as part of your own Apple backup (iCloud Backup or an encrypted local backup), which is controlled entirely by your iOS settings and is not accessible to us. Deleting the app deletes the file.
What we do not do
- We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on our servers. We do not operate servers for this app.
- We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.
- There are no third-party SDKs in the app.
- We do not show advertising.
- There are no in-app purchases.
- The app makes no network connections.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, because we do not collect personal information from anyone.
Children's privacy
Getting Ready is designed for families and is listed in the App Store Kids Category. Because the app collects no data and makes no network connections, it complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the App Store's Kids Category requirements by design.
The child's first name, if entered, is optional, is used only to display a message when a routine is finished, and is stored only on the device.
Links out of the app
The app contains no links to external websites, no social media features, and no way to contact anyone from inside the app.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address and the date above will change.
