Support — Getting Ready
For iPhone · requires iOS 18 or later
Getting Ready is a picture routine chart for children, for the mornings and bedtimes when getting ready is a struggle. Each task is a picture flap your child lifts when it's done, and when every flap is up, they get a cheer.

Email [email protected] with a question, a bug, or an idea. I'm a mom who made this for my own kids, and I'd love to hear how it's working for yours.
If you are reporting something going wrong, it helps to say which iPhone you are on, which version of iOS, and what you were doing when it happened.
Common questions
How does my child use it?
Each task on the board is a flap. When your child finishes a task, they tap its flap to lift it and see a picture underneath. Tap a lifted flap to close it again. When every flap is lifted, the board celebrates.
How do I switch between morning and night?
The board is double-sided. Tap the sun or moon at the top of the screen to turn it over to the other routine.
How do I change the tasks?
Tap the settings button in the top corner to open Edit Chart. From there you can add tasks from the suggestions, make your own, remove tasks, and choose which side of the board each one is on.
Can I make a chart for more than one child?
Yes. In Edit Chart, tap Add a child. Each child gets their own chart and their own color.
Do the checkmarks reset each day?
Yes. The flaps close on their own at the start of each new day, so every morning starts fresh. To start over during the day, open Edit Chart and tap Clear today's checkmarks.
Can I prop it up sideways?
Yes. Getting Ready works in portrait and landscape, so you can stand your phone on the counter where your child can reach it.
Where is my information kept?
On your device only. The app has no account, no ads, no analytics, and makes no network connections. See the privacy policy for the detail.
Will I lose my charts if I get a new phone?
Not if you restore from a backup. Your charts are part of your normal iCloud or encrypted computer backup, so they come along when you restore to a new iPhone. Deleting the app deletes the charts.
